Scene Analysis Based on the 2D Images
Hejtmánek, Martin ; Drahanský, Martin (referee) ; Orság, Filip (advisor)
This thesis deals with an object surface analysis in a simple scene represented by two-dimensional raster image. It summarizes the most common methods used within this branch of information technology and explains both their advantages and drawbacks. It introduces the design of an surface profile analysis algorithm based on the lighting analysis using knowledge and experiences from previous work. It contains a detailed description of the implemented algorithm and discusses the experimental results. It also brings up options for the possible enhancement of the projected algorithm.
Graphics Intro 64kB Using Ray Tracing
Luňák, Miroslav ; Herout, Adam (referee) ; Jošth, Radovan (advisor)
This thesis is concerning the description of creation of graphic intro 64kB using ray tracing. The main focus is the problems and principles connected with the topic of the thesis. Further on, the thesis describes the actual realization of the application and the achieved results. The conclusion covers the evaluation of thesis and possible ways for further improvement of the project.
Simulink transformer models based on equivalent circuits
Petrič, Peter ; Huták, Petr (referee) ; Pazdera, Ivo (advisor)
The aim of the bachelor‘s thesis is to project and then realize models of transformer in Matlab/Simulink program. These proposed procedures show the relation between original transformer and its spare connections. The first part of bachelor‘s thesis is oriented to theory of transformers which defines basic parametres and relations between them in transformer. Later in this part we try to describe cross-over from basic transformer model to the spare connection which is needed in realization of model in Simulink. The second part of bachelor‘;s thesis is oriented to theoretical description of vector transformation. It describes some basic relations of general transformation, currents transformation and voltage in certain connections. The third part of bachelor‘s thesis shows some practical realization of spare connection models of basic transformer in Simulink program. In this part we modeled some current transformer models and voltage for single-phase and three-phase system. As to compare we have created process of currents and voltages in transformer as well as power and load of each model.
Three-phase sinusoidal pulse width modulation algorithms
Rudolf, Ladislav ; Červinka, Dalibor (referee) ; Klíma, Bohumil (advisor)
The main theme of this bachelors‘s thesis is to introduce readers into the algorithm of generating three-phase sinusoidal pulse width modulation. Main attention is concentrating to methods of generating Pulse width modulation method such as comparate PWM modulation technique and space modulation of voltage vector SVM. The functional units of algorithms are analysed and described from the basics. In addition, this project describes the basic analog solutions and even the implementation of the PWM modulator into signal processors DSP56F800.
Geographic information systems
Bílek, Ondřej ; Říha, Kamil (referee) ; Uchytil, Stanislav (advisor)
This diploma thesis focuses on the problematic of geographical information systems, analysis of the commercial as well as freeware software tools for GIS, analysis of vector and raster representation of geographical data and basic methods for data representation in GIS. The another important part of this thesis is the design of web application, that can be used as a tool for visualization of bussiness data from commercial company, in compare with data owned by Czech Statistical Office. This aplication is built on free platform Google Maps API V3.
Set of JavaApplets Demonstrations for Speech Processing
Kudr, Michal ; Karafiát, Martin (referee) ; Černocký, Jan (advisor)
The goal of the thesis is being familiar with methods a techniques used in speech processing. Using the obtained knowledge I propose three JavaApplets demonstrating selected methods. In this thesis we can find the theoretical analysis of selected problems.
Vector Analysis in GIS Systems
Životský, Tomáš ; Peringer, Petr (referee) ; Hrubý, Martin (advisor)
This master's thesis deals with the geographic information systems   with an emphasis on so - called vector analysis . The aim of the thesis is to create a library that implements the internal representation   of geographic data and performs analytical operation over them .  The thesis describes the logical structure of the application and the hierarchy of abstract classes . In the form of pseudo -code is shown a set of individual computing operations . Work is strongly based on geographic system GRASS. This GIS is connectable through  import and export vector data in shapefile format. Concept of   storing layers is designed for ease of data manipulation and  their portability . The main idea behind the application is to split the library into individual modules . These modules are  independent , but also can benefit from each other's functions . In conclusion are demonstrated implemented vector analysis and  representation of their calculation .
Interactive map resources on the Internet
Špeta, Marek ; Lambertová, Petra (referee) ; Koutný, Martin (advisor)
The objective of this thesis gives an overview of available technologies used to work with map resources on the Internet. The thesis also contains overview of different input data formats and procedures for obtaining maps. Practical part is focused on designing and implementing web applications using map resources, puts the emphasis on the modularity and simplicity of data entry and data. The implementation uses the PHP scripting language, MySQL database and the additional functions uses Ajax technology and JavaScript language.
Graphics Intro 64kB Using Ray Tracing
Krupa, Martin ; Navrátil, Jan (referee) ; Herout, Adam (advisor)
The object of my bachelor's thesis was to get acquainted with phenomenon of graphics intro with limmited size, to study actual display techniques, which are using real-time ray tracing and make own graphics intro by using these techniques and executable of this intro is limmited to 64kB. The work also briefly introduces history of making graphics intros and reasons for their creation. It contains description of techniques used to create intro and comparation of them. This work also describes own implementation of aplication and its results. Finally there is evaluation of thesis and ways of improvements.
High-Quality Visualization of Petri Nets for Publishing Purposes
Bednář, Drahoslav ; Kočí, Radek (referee) ; Janoušek, Vladimír (advisor)
This work is trying to solve the problem of graphical visualization of Petri nets in text publications. The aim of the thesis is to create a tool that will simplify generating of Petri nets and at the same time provide a more aesthetic graphical output than existing tools do. A simplex algorithm was used for automatic network layout. The program has both graphical interface and text mode and can cooperate well with existing tools for working with Petri nets, which the text also mentions. The program is able to load a pnml file and produce a usable image in png, pdf, and svg formats.
